This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Graaaaah! Why does this site keep trying to add favorites to me?
I'll level here - I don't want to get into this favorites game. It seems to create this entire system of courtesy and social currency that I don't really want to get into. Pretty much every favorite I have is an accident, because DeviantArt keeps mistaking my method of browsing for trying to favorite - like how I hold down my mousewheel to move around the page.
There's a lot of great artists and good authors on the site, yeah, but I have a strange sense of honor. And the constant exchange of "Thank you for the favorite!" and celebrating pageviews just sits outside my comfort zone. This isn't a diss on anyone, it's just not my thing. I like good manners, but this dimension of it just falls flat on me.
Thank you, Mark, for adding "Pennies from Heaven 2.0" to your favorites. I'm deeply honored that my work is the first in your favorites. I'm quite unworthy of the distinction, but grateful nonetheless.
Splendid detail in your gallery. I also really like the movement you employ in your work. They make a wonderful combination.

"There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line."
I dunno. I don't really time myself, so I can only tell you how long it was from start to finish, rather than the actual time spent drawing. Some drawings I start fervishly, and finish in two days. Some I drift back to every now and then, and finish in about a month or two. I had a couple that took almost a year to get around to finishing - they're not here. Since art is more a hobby than a trade, it has to take the backseat sometimes - though it's a great stress reliever for me.

Still, I like what I see so I am going to stick around and "watch" whatever comes up.
